We worship Sundays at 9 & 10:30am at 3501 Aldrich Ave S, Mpls, MN 55408. Parking is on-street and there is ResKids for children aged 2-12, with nursery care for children 6 months to 2 years. We worship together with the folks from Aldrich Avenue Presbyterian Church as part of our cooperative ministry known as Resurrection MPLS.
Christian worship celebrates and participates in what God is doing in the world through Jesus Christ. No matter where you are—spiritually skeptical, curious about Christianity, or a committed follower of Jesus Christ—worship points us to the one who meets the deepest needs of the human heart. In the words of a prayer of St. Augustine, "You have made us for yourself, and our hearts are restless until they rest in you."
If you've never worshipped with us before, here's a bit of what to expect:
Worship that is both traditional and dynamic. We attempt to combine an appreciation for the richness of church’s liturgical heritage with a vibrancy that is refreshing—especially to those who may have been away from the church for some time. We seek to avoid both uncomfortable novelty and stuffy formality.
Worship that is both God-centered and seeker-sensitive. We attempt to combine a transcendent focus on Jesus Christ with a welcoming attitude toward those who are spiritually skeptical or curious. We design our services expecting unchurched people to be present, believing that experiencing God’s presence in our midst will lead many to embrace Christ. We avoid services that either devolve into entertainment or which are simply “preaching to the choir.”
Worship that speaks both to the mind and the heart. We attempt to provide services that are both deep and practical, both intellectually challenging and emotionally satisfying. We avoid both barren intellectualism and empty emotionalism.
So join us for worship and expect God to welcome you into his presence through his people.
Children are always welcome in worship and we find ways throughout the year to incorporate their participation and presence in the worship service. Preschool aged kids and older are part of the first 20 minutes of the service before being welcomed to Sunday School upstairs in our ResKids area.
We use Planning Center for checking in kids in the back of the Sanctuary. If you are a new or visiting family, please arrive 10 minutes early so we can get you checked in.

If you drive there is plenty of on-street parking on the 3500 and 3400 blocks of Aldrich Ave. There is good parking on 35th St between Bryant Ave S and Lyndale Ave S. Also, you can park at DaVita Dialysis Center at 3601 Lyndale Ave S which is 0.2 miles from church and less than a 5 minute walk.
We have a bike rack for bike parking by the church's south door.
If you take the bus: the 4 which goes down Bryant will drop you off at the corner of 35th and Bryant. The 6 bus will drop you off at the corner of 36th St and Hennepin Ave S, which is about a 1/2 mile walk away from the church. Click here to plan your trip through Metro Transit.
We offer Christ-centered, Bible-based teaching and worship for kids aged 2-12 during the service under the leadership of our excellent Kids Ministry Director Mai Larson. For smaller kids (2 months-2 years) we offer nursery care.
Nursery care is available upstairs with drop off starting 10 minutes before the service.
Kids worship with their parents for the first 20 minutes or so of the service, through most of the music and Prayers of the People. At this point they are dismissed to ResKids for an age-appropriate lesson. The first Sunday of the month children are welcomed back to the service to sit with their families as we take Communion.
Your child's safety is our number one priority. For that reason we conduct background checks on all our child care volunteers using a screening program called Shepherd's Watch.
We have a check-in system through Planning Center that ensures that your child leaves only with the person who checked them in. Also, at check-in we gather information about any special needs or considerations for your child. If there is a need to contact you during the service our volunteer will text you using the phone number you provide, or they will discreetly come and get you.
Life Groups are a great way to get connected beyond the weekend. We recognize that Sunday worship is only part of what it means to be the church. Our vision for life groups is that they would be an environment of belonging and becoming—that every person who participates would feel like they belong just as they are, and that in the process of being together and diving into real-life conversation about Scripture, we would become more and more the people we were created to be.
Each life group meets in a home twice a month to connect, read the Bible and discuss how God wants to shape us through our relationships with each other and through his word. For more information on life groups and how you can get connected, email Matt Anderson at firstname.lastname@example.org.
